What to See when Traveling to Greece
The Acropolis
When traveling to Athens, the Acropolis is an important historical site to visit. Toursits may either take a tour or venture through the monument on their own.
The Acropolis was designed by architects Kallikrates and Iktinos to be the home of the giant statue of Athena. It took over 9 years to build, and remains one of the most recognizable structures in the world.

When in Greece, relaxation and taking advantage of beautiful clear water beaches must be on the agenda. The above beach, located in Crete, is famous for its clear waters and pink sand beaches.

The Islands
Greece is equally famous for its multitude of different islands. Greece's most famous islands are Mykonos (pictured above), Santorini, Hydra, Kos and others. The nightlife and vibrancy of the islands make of them an excellent addition to a Greece vacation.
Fun Fact: Deep blue colors are often associated with Greek architecture as the Greek believe that blue is a color that will drive away the "Evil Eye".
